The Lotus Raptor is a small yet fearsome predator, growing to around 30 centimetres in length. Inhabiting shallow wetlands, its vivid blue and green colouring along with flashes of bright pink, offering near-perfect camouflage among the vegetation.
Semi-amphibious by nature, it glides effortlessly between land and water. Its strong legs propel it in sudden bursts, while a narrow snout armed with sharp, needle-like teeth makes quick work of fish, frogs, and even unsuspecting birds.
The Lotus Raptor may appear delicate, almost ornamental. Yet beneath that beauty lies a ruthless hunter, ever watchful and ready to strike. Here, among the still waters and lotus blooms, this vibrant little raptor reigns supreme.
